Slowly but surely, education is making a shift from the traditional model created over a century ago, into something that will prepare students for the workplace of the future. In response to this different style of education, classroom design and school furniture must change as well.

While most American classrooms are still arranged in a traditional layout with rows of desks and the teacher in the front of the class, some schools are throwing out that old model and starting fresh with something that more closely resembles workplaces outside of the classroom.
